Yes, Joule works with S/4HANA On-Prem - Here’s how (The Neomore way)

This demo showcases how Neomore has extended Joule intelligence to interact with our internal on-prem S/4HANA system. Built using SAP Build Process Automation and a custom Joule Skill, the solution allows Joule to perform live operations such as:
- Fetching installed equipment for a given functional location
- Creating maintenance notifications in S/4HANA
- Returning real-time results directly to the Joule interface
All of this happens securely through SAP BTP, without any heavy technical footprint.
And whether your backend is S/4HANA or ECC, the pattern remains the same: expose the needed processes via Integration Suite or OData services, orchestrate with BPA, and build the natural-language layer in Joule Studio.
What does it take to get started?
Surprisingly little.
The prerequisites are straightforward - SAP BTP access, Joule Studio and a connection to your S/4HANA system (on-prem or cloud). With these, our consultants can help customers quickly prototype or pilot AI use cases that demonstrate real operational value.
The goal isn’t to replace existing systems overnight, but to show how AI can enhance familiar processes - from maintenance to finance, HR or logistics - through natural language and some intelligent automation.
